  • Come and join us on the 8th annual Baldwin Park Triathlon, swim in Beautiful Lake Baldwin, ride and run around Baldwin Park, and enjoy the experience of competing on the Corporate Challenge with your co-workers. The first 7 years were great, but the 8th is going to be EPIC!!
  • CORPORATE TEAM CHALLENGE
    • Does your company have the goods? Find out once and for all and take home the 6th Annual Corporate Challenge Trophy – there can only be 1 winner - will it be your company??? The company with the highest number of points in the triathlon, duathlon and aquabike wins the challeng.  As always the top 3 placed companies win awards as will the top 3 men and women in the Corporate division, top 3 in the CEO division and top 3 in the Team division.
  • RULZ
    • Your overall standing in the race will earn points for your company. Enter in one of the following three divisions:
      • Team Division (2-3 person relay): Teams of all male, all female or co-ed coworkers.
      • CEO Division: Must be President or CEO of your company.
      • Corporate Division: Individuals from a company completing all three disciplines of swim, bike and run.
  • EXAMPLES
    • Paul, Adam, Sally, Allen, Beth, Joan and Bill work for Acme Widget Supply. All 5 decide that Acme can win the Corporate Triathlon Challenge. Paul, Allen and Beth enter the Team Division. Joan enters the triathlon CEO Division (because she’s the President), Bill enters the Corporate Division, Adam enters the duathlon Corporate Division and Sally enters the Aquabike Corporate division. Team Acme has 5 chances to win points. At the conclusion of the event Team Paul, Allen and Beth finish 57th out of 487 athletes – they earned Acme 430 points. Joan wins the race – she earned Acme 487 points. Bill hurt his knee and finished 312th – he earned Acme 175 points. Sally won the Aquabike (out of 15 total athletes) and scores 15 points for Acme. Adam comes in 2nd (out of 98 duathletes) and scores 97 points for Amce. As a result Acme accrues 430 + 487 + 175 + 15 + 97 = 1,204 points.
    • Sea Universe decides that they want to promote their new wellness program and this event would be a great way to showcase their employee athletes. They have 13 people enter the Corporate Division, their president Carl enters the CEO Division and they have 4 teams enter the Team Division. Carl finishes last and earns Sea Universe 1 point. The 4 relay teams finish 2nd, 3rd, and 6th overall – they earn Sea Universe 486, 485 and 482 points, respectively. The 13 people in the Corporate division are all folks who are new to wellness and they decided to celebrate their achievement by walking (Carl joined them) – so they took positions 14 through 2. They earned Sea Universe 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3 and 2 points, respectively. Cumulatively Sea Universe earned 1 + 486 + 485 + 482 + 14 + 13 + 12 + 11 + 10 + 9 + 8 + 7 + 6 + 5 + 4 + 3 + 2 = 1,558 points.
      • Sea Universe wins the Corporate Triathlon Challenge and Acme comes in 2nd
      • Team Acme member Joan wins CTC CEO division - 1st*
      • Team Acme member Sally wins the CTC Aquabike Corporate division - 1st*
      • Team Acme member Adam wins the CTC Duathlon Corporate division - 2nd*
      • Team Sea Universe members Team A wins the CTC Team division - 2nd
      • Team Sea Universe members Team A wins the CTC Team division - 3rd
